Sandpiper is perfect for a relaxing summer holiday, with its panoramic views over open countryside, sea and coastline. It has an outdoor heated swimming pool (fenced) which is open from Easter to September. Guests can also enjoy their own private patio leading from the cottage lounge, with table, chairs and barbeque, where you can take in the stunning views to the sea. In addition to the patio, there is a secure play area, with a large trampoline (with safety nets), swings, a slide and climbing frame, all set in half an acre of garden, ideal for ball games or just simply playing. All this, and it is just 10 minutes walk to the beach!
Sandpiper is attached to our own home and has been lovingly renovated over winter to provide a relaxing and stylish place to stay. |

Sandpiper sits between the village of South Milton and the beautiful sandy South Milton Beach, which is half way between Salcombe and Kingsbridge.
At South Milton Sands, we are lucky to have a fantastic beach cafe, which is open all day during the summer months for snacks, ice creams and hot & cold sandwiches. The cafe has recently been taken over by a locally renowned chef, (the owner of The Whitehouse at Chillington), who is currently adding a new indoor eating area and, also, new for summer 2011, the cafe is extending its opening hours to provide evening meals. |
